Lydia Davis - She/Her

Lydia's career started in 2010, after graduating from Washington State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development. She continued her studies and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2014 from Eastern Washington University.
Most recently, Lydia has earned an Anger Management Specialist Certificate and is fully licensed in Arizona, North Dakota, Texas, and Washington State.


With extensive experience across multiple departments in the mental health field, spanning almost two decades, Lydia has been able to cultivate a diverse array of tools utilized in her practice. Lydia worked with Evergreen Healthcare in Kirkland, WA as a Hospice Social Worker for almost 9 years before transitioning into her role as a Medical Emergency Room Social Worker with Sunstar Virtual Behavioral Health Solutions and Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital in Marysville, WA and surrounding areas. Currently she teaches Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Emotional Regulation to a women’s group virtually. Lydia's experience includes case management, individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention and treatment development with families of various social, economic, and racial backgrounds.

Lydia’s therapeutic approach is the belief that clients are the experts of their own lives and clients holistically, must be nurtured. Within this framework, the clients will discover their own inner strengths and generate answers that will enhance their overall well-being. Lydia’s therapeutic modalities and evidenced based practices range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Education Therapy, Client Centered Therapy as well as Anger Management and Emotional Regulation.

As a counselor, Lydia's mission is to provide a safe, comfortable and educational environment for clients to become empowered, identify their inner strengths and rely on their resilience. Clients can expect to collaborate on establishing goals, accountability, exploring emotions and creativity as well as use their critical thinking skills and tools to overcome daily challenges at home and in the workplace.
